Long time local Democrat supporter Bob Freeman was victorious on primary election night 2010. Bob was the winner of one of the few contested Democrat primary races, winning two to one over opponents Carla Barrett and Brianna Ferrenburg. He ran a solid campaign of personal appearances, newspaper, internet, yard signs and mailers.
Bob promises to bring truth and fairness back to township government. “There is so much waste, overspending and abuse that originates in the Columbus Township Trustee’s Office today, that even the Township’s own employees and former supporters ran against the current Republican Trustee,” Bob commented immediately after being declared the winner. “It’s time for a change.” |
|
Freeman is one of the last ‘true believers’ left in our local Democrat Party, who thinks that anyone, no matter who they are, may fall upon hard times. He believes that, as Democrats, we are obliged to offer those in need a ‘hand up’ not a ‘hand out’. Bob pledges to STOP the waste of tax dollars at both Township Fire Stations, all the while supplying our firefighters, who are truly dedicated to our community, the best equipment, technology and communications available on the market today.
What about Bob? He’s a winner now! |

After three hours of dinner, protocols and speeches by the five Indiana State Democratic Candidates, Bartholomew County Democrat Chairman Gary Bell personally recognized Circuit Court Judge Steve Heimann as the first member of the Democratic Chairman’s Club. Judge Heimann is a Democrat running for re-election. |

“Steve is an original member of the Democratic Chairman’s Club, attends almost every local Democrat function and never fails to be the largest bidder at all the Party’s and Ladies League’s auctions,” Gary applauded. The Central Committee sincerely appreciates Steve’s service. |
