I was elected chairperson of the county committee in January of 2008. I grew up in Speedway, Indiana and attended Indiana University graduating in 1968 with a degree in Mathematics. I moved to Columbus in 1970 and was a systems analyst with Cummins, Inc and EDS until I retired in April of 2007. I've been a member of North Christian Church since 1970. My wife Rhonda and I are both dedicated to this community and believe we can make a difference.

The goal of our party is to get qualified candidates elected. The two keys to this goal are: (1) We need to seek out and attract the best people to fill the positions being contested. And (2) we need to focus on what needs to be done to get those candidates elected. Both of these keys involve the same strategy -- hard work with a purpose and a direction. We must be motivated at the grass roots level with enthusiasm and equipped with the ability to communicate in a timely manner. As chairperson of the Democrat Committee, I will work hard to generate enthusiasm. We will work together to formulate our purpose and direction. Good communication is the vehicle for success. Dedicated, enthusiastic people don't have limitations.
